This further is divided into two dimensions:

Level 1: Highly Capable Individual
Level 2: Contributing Team Member
Level 3: Competent Manager
Level 4: Effective Leader
Level 5: Level 5 Executive
Qualities of Level 5 Executive:
– Paradox
– Driven
– Build Successors
– Share Praise
– Take Blame
– Normal People
– Comes from within the Organisation
2. First Who, Then What
– Hire the right people then decide what to build
Three principles of First Who, Then what
– When in doubt, don’t hire – keep looking
– When needed, change the personnel right away
– Put your best people in your biggest opportunities and not in the biggest challenges
